I was taking a look through my inventory, and it’s full of stuff that I haven’t even unpacked yet, so I thought I would have a lazy Sunday morning in bed trying on forgotten things and drinking coffee

I found this cute hair ‘Etienne’ by Moon in the pastels option (I always have pink hair, I have pink hair in RL and I like to keep my av looking like RL me) and I am loving it. The beret is leather and is nicely textured, there is also a style hud.

I’m a lover of flares, I buy every pair I find in SL and I had forgotten I had bought these ones from SPIRIT. They are the ‘Linda’ jeans in med/blue and I am loving the pleat detail and keychain detail (plus they make my arse look great). I teamed them with the Dylan T-Shirt ‘Hustler’ from Psuedo for that pornstar’s day off kinda vibe.

The ‘Daddy’s’ necklace from Krescendo I always wear (what can I say, I’m a Daddys girl) and another favourite is the ring set I am wearing from Yummy – Dark Magic Ring Set. I don’t change my jewellery much, but when I do, my ring sets are always from Yummy, I love the options and details and the texturing is incredible.

I’ve had a lovely morning but I have to get up now, RL is calling me and so is more coffee

So it’s been a while since I was active in SL, but I always try to log in to shop FLF and The Saturday Sale, and this week I wasn’t disappointed.

I’ve been a little blue. British winters are cold and grey and my inner self exists in mid 70’s Santa Monica, all surf, skateboards and cherry lollipops. In SL I create my eternal sunshine and dance barefoot in the sand to the music of my heroes, most of them are long gone, I keep them alive.

I didn’t even know until after I had bought it that it has these tiny little stars (you don’t have to wear them, but why wouldn’t you?) with a hud with about 5 metal texture options to choose from. At only 75L$ today, go and get it, trust me, it will be a summer staple.

The dress is from Fashionably Dead where I buy a lot of my clothes. I bought this cream version, and the pink colour also. The hud comes with the ability to control the lace panels and make them opaque which is a really nice couch, and they are also available today in The Saturday Sale for 75L$.

So it’s Sunday and a sunny day here in Liverpool. I’m not working and I have nothing pressing to do so I’ve tidied up my balcony and now settled down to watch a documentary on Peter Green and I can hardly take how sad it makes me.

I’m a HUGE Fleetwood Mac fan, including the Peter Green years. In fact music in general is very important to me.

My dad is a musician and I was born in the 70’s. We didn’t watch TV much, but I had a comprehensive education in quality music, its roots, its cultural importance and from a very young age I understood how powerful music is.

Music saves people, it helps people communicate things they can’t articulate. It turns friends into lovers, strangers into friends, It’s your best friend when you have no one else, and in some cases, like Peter’s, it can drive you to the edge of madness and beyond. I’m just gonna take a little minute here to appreciate his genius

I’m wearing green today in his honour. The robe, which I’ve styled as a coat sorta thing is the Valentina E Garbo Dresssing Gown in lime which is available at The Arcade in both short and long versions. The boots are from Pure Poison, who are having a crazy ass sale on the marketplace with each item no more than 10L$. I always wear her shoes, so I bought 67 PAIRS!!!! I think it’s on for a couple of days so make sure you fill a few shopping carts.

The little bag ‘Sheila’ is by gO! and is also available at The Arcade (Or Seraphim Yardsale, which is where I got all of my arcade stuff), the shorts are FurtaCor and the sunnies are again from the Pure Poison sale.

My jewellery, which isn’t really visible on the picture are the ‘Daddy’s and ‘Babygirl’ naughty necklaces from Krescendo, and the Lulu necklace from Kibitz. The ring set is Winter Solstice by Yummy.

Hair was recommended to me by Gidge as she knows my style, and it is called ‘The idea of her’ from Exile. Photo was taken at my house.

So I recently got rid of my sim Cherry Beach.

I’m not used to living the parcel life but until LL drastically rethink their sim prices, I think a lot of people will find the expense hard to justify unless they are a big designer or have a lot of disposable RL income to spend on pixels.

For me at the moment it’s neither.

I moved last year to a new house in RL that needs A LOT of work before I can call it a home and I have been on a design hiatus in SL for a couple of years, as I transition from one version of me to another (see ‘About Me’ section).

For now I am content with a 4096 mainland parcel to call home, and I knew exactly the feel I wanted and the build that would give it to me.
